Child Care Pre-K Supervisor

We're hiring a Pre-K Supervisor to lead a classroom that fosters learning, growth, and development for young children in Fraser's inclusive Child Care program. In this role, you'll provide guidance and supervision to children and staff while creating a safe, engaging, and supportive learning environment for children of all abilities.
What You'll Do:
Classroom Leadership & Instruction
  • Lead a structured, developmentally appropriate Pre-K classroom environment
  • Plan and implement activities that support children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development
  • Create a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and school readiness
  • Support children of all abilities in achieving individual learning and developmental goals
Child & Family Support
  • Build positive relationships with children, families, and caregivers
  • Communicate regularly with parents regarding children's progress and classroom activities
  • Foster an inclusive environment that respects the unique needs and strengths of every child
  • Ensure children's health, safety, and well-being throughout the day
Staff Supervision & Collaboration
  • Provide guidance, support, and leadership to classroom staff
  • Assist with training, coaching, and mentoring team members as needed
  • Promote teamwork and positive communication within the classroom and department
  • Collaborate with supervisors and support staff to ensure quality programming and services
Program Quality & Compliance
  • Maintain classroom standards that support quality child care and early childhood education
  • Ensure compliance with licensing requirements, agency policies, and program expectations
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities
  • Support continuous improvement efforts within the Child Care Department
What You Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, or a related field required
  • Ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers
  • Commitment to ongoing professional growth and skill development
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Experience working with children of all abilities preferred
  • Experience managing a classroom preferred
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred
  • Ability to obtain required health certification within 30 days of employment
