Our History:For over 130 years, Fraser, Ltd. has been a cornerstone of support and empowerment in North Dakota. Established in 1893 as the Florence Crittenton Home for unwed mothers, we have grown into the state's longest-serving non-profit, continuously evolving to meet the changing needs of children, youth, and adults. Today, Fraser, Ltd. provides a broad range of services designed to foster independence and well-being. We offer independent living support, residential services, and day programs for individuals with disabilities. Our childcare services welcome both typically developing children and those with special needs, ensuring every child has a place to learn and grow. Through our Youth & Young Adult Services, we support individuals ages 16-26 and their dependent children, offering wrap-around services to help them build stability and independence. This includes residential programs, a community resource center, and outreach support focused on housing, employment, education, life skills, and basic needs. Additionally, Valley Hope Counseling provides compassionate mental health support for individuals, couples, and families. We also offer representative payee services to assist with benefit and money management, promoting financial stability and security. At Fraser, Ltd., we believe in meeting people where they are, providing the tools, resources, and support they need to thrive. Our mission is simple: to empower individuals on their journey to independence, creating a stronger, more inclusive community for all.
